Key Responsibilities- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by setting up sterile equipment and supplies
- Assist with patient positioning and ensure that patients are properly secured and prepared for surgery
- Maintain a clean and safe environment during surgery, including disposing of waste and cleaning equipment
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants as needed
- Assist with closing wounds and applying dressings after surgery
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Technologist Surgery Certified (TSC)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a surgical setting, preferably as a Surgical Technologist
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor during stressful situations
