Vehicle Repair and Maintenance Expert Needed

The California Highway Patrol is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician II to join their team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Job Duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance on all vehicles in the fleet
  • Diagnose and repair minor mechanical issues
  • Conduct comprehensive safety inspections on all vehicles
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle repairs and maintenance
  • Coordinate logistics for fuel shipments and inventory control

Requirements:

  • Current CDL and valid driver's license
  • Clear background investigation results
  • Medical clearance prior to hire
  • Prior experience in automotive repair and maintenance
