We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our Grid Technologies division, you will play a critical role in the design and development of power transformers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical calculations for power transformers and prepare design documents
  • Establish parameters and dimensions of active transformer parts to meet customer specifications
  • Collaborate with sales, mechanical design, manufacturing, quality, testing, and service departments on technical topics
  • Prepare technical specifications for component ordering and estimate quantities for offers
  • Communicate with multi-functional teams and participate in internal and external technical forums
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering
  • 6+ years of experience as a design engineer in power transformers, with expertise in transformer design software tools
  • Strong conceptual knowledge and working experience of calculations and designing of transformers
  • Familiarity with American and international standards related to transformers and materials
