Position Overview

  • Patient Demographics: Neonates to Geriatrics
  • Work Environment: Mid-sized general department with 24/7 coverage; caseload primarily includes general abdominal, small parts, and obstetrics/gynecology (mostly 1st and 3rd trimester for biophysical and growth assessments). A significant number of pediatric and neonate patients for examinations such as appendix, intussusception, spines, and cranials. Overnight shift caseload varies from 4-12, predominantly ER examinations. Proficiency in PACS and portable imaging is essential.
  • Patient Volume: 4 rooms; serving 40-60 patients in a 24-hour period
  • Unit Systems: Epic, Siemens, Pyxis, and SBAR
  • Scrub Color: Any
  • Time Off Requests: Maximum of 7 days
  • Compliance: Full compliance is mandatory to commence on schedule; non-compliance may result in a 2-week delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedules.

Schedule Information
  • Weekdays: Monday to Thursday
  • Major Holidays: If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur, both are to be worked. If three major holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two of them.
Unit Specific Information
