Minimum Qualifications:

- Associate's Degree
- AANA - American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
- NBCRNA - National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
- CRNA - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing

- Graduate from an approved school of nursing and hold current Ohio licensure as a registered nurse
- Graduate from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
- Complete the AANA Certification examination
- Comply with criteria for biennial re Certification as defined by AANA to include current licensure as a registered nurse, active practice as a CRNA, appropriate continuing and verification of the absence of mental, physical or other problems which could interfere with the practice of Anesthesia
