Rural Mail Carrier

Job Summary:

As an Assistant Rural Carrier with the US Postal Service, you will be responsible for delivering packages on Sundays and observed holidays using dynamic route descriptions. You will also be responsible for case, deliver, and collect mail and packages on Saturday along a prescribed rural route using a vehicle. This role requires strong communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Provide excellent customer service to customers and respond to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver's license required
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
