NDE Technician

At Saturn Machine, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled NDE Technician - Level II to join our team. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for performing non-destructive testing (NDT) on precision-machined products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NDT methods and procedures, with a focus on ultrasonic shear-wave, magnetic particle, and liquid penetrant disciplines. You will be responsible for setting up and calibrating equipment, conducting tests, and interpreting results to ensure quality and detect discontinuities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specification requirements or standards
• Interpret and disposition all relevant and irrelevant indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• NDT Level II Certification
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
