Key Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
Prepare patients for surgery, including positioning and stabilizing equipment
Implement physicians' orders to provide visualization of the operative site
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
Requirements:
Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or required professional licensure
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing
Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate of an RN First Assist Program
1 year of First Assist experience
