Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Emergency Department team on a per diem basis. As an LPN/LVN in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to prioritize patient care and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current LPN/LVN licensure in Washington State or multistate licensure endorsement (MLS)
  • Previous experience as an LPN/LVN in an acute care setting, preferably in an emergency department
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
