About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Highway Maintenance Manager to join our team at DeAngelo Contracting Services in Athens, GA.

Job Summary

This is a lead role responsible for overseeing the maintenance of highways projects assigned. The successful candidate will lead crews in performing highway maintenance activities, operate various forms of heavy equipment, and ensure that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead teams in performing highway maintenance activities, including cleaning ditches, grading roadsides, and repairing fences and signs.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers and dump trucks.
  • Maintain high standards of safety and quality control.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • Commercial Driver's License Class A with 3 years clean MVR is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in operating heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends.
