About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team at CVS Health. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting healthy outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct Pharmacy Technician Support Staff to ensure seamless pharmacy operations
  • Support the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within the pharmacy, including patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management
  • Develop and implement patient care programs to promote healthy outcomes and improve patient satisfaction
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify business opportunities and develop meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance
  • Lead by example, demonstrating empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
  • Develop and motivate Pharmacy Support Staff to maximize their strengths, address development opportunities, and decrease knowledge gaps
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA)
  • No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
