is seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Windows Server Administrator

to support critical missions.

This position will involve supporting various systems and applications related to defense operations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, construct, and upgrade Windows server systems throughout the organization.

Provide daily support for Windows systems, services, and performance.

Conduct maintenance on Windows servers and systems.

Oversee migration, backups, and recovery of Windows systems.

Develop documentation and training for systems and tasks associated with Windows systems.


Contribute to the development and deployment of new software related to the infrastructure environment, including backup/recovery systems and security.

Create and strategize migration processes to support applications hosted by Windows systems.

Complete system security checklists, patches, upgrades, configurations, troubleshooting, and documentation of equipment necessary to maintain the Enterprise environments.

Perform all other assigned tasks.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience in building and configuring physical Windows servers.

Experience in building and configuring virtual Windows servers in VMWare environments.

Experience in administering Microsoft Windows Server.

Advanced knowledge of Active Directory.

Ability to administer and upgrade Windows servers.

Ability to install and configure hosted applications and services on Windows servers.

Experience with Windows Powershell.

Advanced problem-solving skills.

Strong work ethic and a desire to learn.

Effective time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Capability to design, build, and configure Windows server infrastructures.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience with DISA STIGs and their relevance to Windows security.

Prior experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).

Prior experience with RSA SecurID multifactor authentication services.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 5+ years of experience.

Required:
DoD 8570 IAT Level II (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE)

Security Clearance:
Fully adjudicated Secret with TS/SCI eligibility
