We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Podiatrist to join our team at the Department of Veterans Affairs. As a Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and treatment for a variety of foot and ankle conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat a range of foot and ankle conditions, including ingrown toenails, bunions, and diabetic foot ulcers.
- Perform surgical procedures, such as amputations and reconstructive surgery.
- Prescribe medications and provide wound care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in podiatric medicine.
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school of podiatric medicine.
- Completion of a residency program in podiatric medicine.
- Current licensure to practice podiatry in a state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or in the District of Columbia.
- Board certification in podiatric medicine.
