We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Housekeeper to join our team at MBK Senior Living. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean and sanitize resident apartments, common areas, and offices to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective cleaning.
- Report any health, safety, and sanitation concerns to supervisors and take necessary actions to address them.
- Monitor and remove trash and waste from inside areas to designated trash cans and areas.
- Keep work areas attractive and free of hazardous objects and equipment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established procedures for handling hazardous waste and chemicals.
- Age 18 or older, or have the proper work permit and authorization documentation.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Background clearances as required by government regulations.
- Complete a health screening and provide negative TB test results within the last 6 months or within 7 days of employment.
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred, but on-the-job training is available for candidates with the right attitude and desire.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions.
- Ability to interact effectively with people of different ages and backgrounds.
- Ability to use standard cleaning equipment consistent with the position.
- Must be mobile and able to execute the physical demands of the housekeeping position, including standing for long periods, bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion.
- Must be able to lift cleaning equipment and products of 40+ pounds.
