Volks Resources is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Selector to join our team in Mechanicsville, VA. As a Stock Selector, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping materials in and out of our warehouse, while maintaining accurate inventories and ensuring efficient stock levels in all point of use locations.

• Unload materials to match shipper and bill of materials and give to receiving clerk.
• Move materials to correct staging and or Point of use locations.
• Stock all lean cell FIFO racks, point of use locations, and floor stock areas.
• Wrap and weigh all materials from lines or shipped out of plant.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Empty trashes daily and pickup stockrooms each shift.
• Monitor production workcenters for visual signals and take corrective actions to prevent stockouts.
• Move materials per requests to and from manufacturing cells.
• Pull orders for sub-contractors, warehouses, and etc.
• Pack and weigh ship direct orders.

• Ability to lift workloads up to 25 lbs.
• Having a forklift driver's license or capable of passing the forklift driver's test.
• Ability to plan and execute multiple short duration tasks with minimal instruction.

On-the-job training provided.
