Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in Automation Engineering initiatives focused on the design and deployment of automation solutions for projects in the sugar sector.
  • Work collaboratively with the global Automation engineering team.
  • Responsible for developing new and maintaining existing PLC and HMI systems.
  • Exhibit strong prioritization skills, clear communication, and a proven history of successful project delivery, alongside exceptional software engineering capabilities. Balance innovative engineering with high standards and a customer-centric approach.
  • Provide technical and automation assistance to clients and internal teams.
  • Participate in site assessments, Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), Site Acceptance Tests (SATs), and commissioning processes for implemented systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple project facets and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites for project execution (10-25%).
  • Possess strong analytical skills and the capacity to devise creative solutions.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in Automation.
  • Hands-on expertise with PLC and PC-based systems (e.g., Allen Bradley PLC, Siemens, Beckhoff, etc.).
  • Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases, application interfaces, and Human Machine Interface design and execution.
  • Proficient understanding of P&IDs and control/instrumentation equipment.
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Access, MS Teams, etc.).
