Key Responsibilities:The primary responsibilities of a Certified Quality Tester include, but are not limited to:
- Adhering to established protocols and conducting high voltage and final tests on all products.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
- Ordering necessary materials and components.
- Applying MRD principles effectively.
- Understanding and implementing ITW operational principles within the manufacturing environment.
- Exhibiting self-motivation, teamwork, and a strong focus on quality, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
- Providing training and guidance to other team members.
Minimum Requirements:
- An Associate's degree in Electromechanical, Electronics Technology, Automotive Technology, or a related discipline.
- Preferred experience in assembly or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with engine drive products and the ability to interpret circuit and wiring diagrams.
- Basic knowledge of electricity and mechanical systems is advantageous.
- Proficient computer skills, with the ability to read schematics, bills of materials, and layout drawings.
- A proactive attitude, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to quality and customer service.
- Knowledge of welding processes and small engines is a plus.
- Willingness to engage in cross-training across various manufacturing sectors.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts during peak production periods and to accommodate overtime as necessary.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull weights between 10-25 lbs, and occasionally handle weights of 25-45 lbs.
- Frequent use of both hands for assembly, wiring, and handling tools and components.
- Capable of standing and manipulating hands consistently.
- Occasional reaching, walking, and neck movements.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 12 hours daily.
