Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our team at Teledyne. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for administering our global SAP landscape, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data, and maintaining security and integrity controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain SAP instances, databases, and logs
  • Create and maintain metrics and inventory related to SAP
  • Review and act on conditions found in SAP Early Watch reports
  • Perform system health checks and SAP transports
  • Maintain and update SAP spool system and scheduled jobs
  • Perform problem analysis and resolution
  • Configure and maintain RFCs and other interconnectivity in the SAP landscape
  • Perform SAP security functions, such as user and role management
  • Support an on-call rotation requiring 24x7 responsiveness to outages and issues
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of SAP Basis administration experience for S/4 HANA and SAP ECC
  • BA/BS Degree required
  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Java
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Documentation creation and document management skills
  • Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting
  • Ability to work on self-initiated tasks without appreciable direction
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully support high availability systems
  • SAP BTP cloud service technology solutions experience
  • Database administration experience (MS-SQL, HANA)
  • Active Directory integration/interfacing experience (SAML, LDAP)
  • Application development experience
  • Scripting and automation experience
