X-Ray Technician

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct and manage X-Ray procedures utilizing portable digital (DR) technology, ensuring timely submission for Radiologist review.
- Safely transport portable X-Ray apparatus to various locations to execute physician-ordered examinations, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
- Administer EKGs when necessary and relay results to a Cardiologist for evaluation. (if applicable)
- Regularly digitize and archive exam-related documentation and billing records in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain consistent communication with dispatch and supervisory personnel.
- Interact professionally and effectively with colleagues, management, and clients.
- Ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle and imaging equipment.
- Perform additional tasks as directed.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hold and maintain the necessary State licenses and/or ARRT Certification, along with health and operational standards.
- Possess a valid driver's license in the relevant state, maintaining good standing at all times.
- Participate in required meetings.
- Connect and disconnect Holter Monitors as needed. (if applicable)
- Technologists are expected to care for their equipment responsibly; any equipment malfunctions should be reported to a supervisor immediately.
- Engage in special projects or other responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Provide training to fellow technologists as necessary.
- Exhibit self-motivation, reliability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
