Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Equipment Specialist to join our team at Trinity Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned maintenance and corrective maintenance on high-level diagnostic and therapeutic imaging equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of medical electronics, imaging service technology, and radiation physics.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform planned maintenance and corrective maintenance on imaging equipment, including nuclear medicine, diagnostic x-ray, and radiation therapy equipment.
- Assist in the planning and installation of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging equipment.
- Order parts and supplies as needed for emergency service and repair of imaging equipment.
- Coordinate repairs with vendors and users, including follow-up paperwork and verification of issue resolution.

Requirements

- Associate's degree in medical electronics, imaging service technology, or related field.
- Three or more years of experience in imaging equipment maintenance, including nuclear medicine, diagnostic x-ray, and radiation therapy equipment.
- Certified Radiology Equipment Service (CRES) certification preferred.

Working Conditions

- Must be able to work in a hazardous environment, including electrocution potentials, mechanical energies, and radiation.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds routinely and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
