Lead Carpenter Opportunity at Blackdog Builders

We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team at Blackdog Builders, a reputable company in the construction industry. As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing carpentry projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior carpenters, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in residential carpentry, with a proven track record of successful project management.
  • Strong technical skills, including framing, drywall, cabinetry, and finish work.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive starting base wage: $66,500 - $80,000/yearly (*based on experience, excluding overtime).
