Lead Analytical Scientist, Quality Control

Vericel Corporation is seeking a talented Senior Quality Control Analyst to join our team in Cambridge, MA. As a Senior Quality Control Analyst, you will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine assays of in-process samples, finished drug product, and stability samples within the QC laboratory in accordance with SOPs for product release and validation. This role also participates in special projects, method development/transfers, and cleaning study qualifications as needed.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological, molecular, and/or cell culture assays for in-process, final product, and stability samples.
- Participate in method qualification/validation activities as necessary.
- Lead analytical tasks and supervise junior analysts as needed.
- Develop and implement new analytical methods and procedures as required.
Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in microbiology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years' industry experience in cGMP lab environment. Salary range: $90,000 - $115,000 per year.
