Job Summary

Ardagh Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front End Attendant to join our team. As a Front End Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate industrial trucks to transport materials and products within the warehouse and production areas.
  • Receive and prepare materials, including aluminum coils, for processing and production.
  • Comply with safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding, Housekeeping, SQF, and Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Identify and handle various types of products, materials, and equipment, including finished goods, shipping materials, and processing materials.
  • Collect and process scrap and spoilage materials, including loading them into balers and compacting them for disposal.
  • Handle and pile skids, pallets, and drums, and re-pile spilled loads of materials or products.
  • Move and replace scrap receptacles throughout the plant, and segregate, weigh, and record scrap for shipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on lift trucks, including adding lubrication and coolant as required.
  • Handle dock boards, packages, bracing, and strapping, and use tools for bracing trucks and cars.
  • Transport materials to and from storage areas, warehouse, machines, and loading docks.
  • Fill out forms, check identification, count or weigh material, and input and extract information in computer systems.
  • Assist the frontend production team as needed, and empty production floor waste/trash daily.
  • Maintain the highest level of housekeeping in assigned areas.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Experience in container manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to navigate computer-based programs.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
