We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team at The Ohio State University's Medicine | IM Hematology department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform independent standard cell biology laboratory techniques, including mammalian cell culture, DNA, RNA, and protein extraction.
- Prepare solutions and reagents as needed.
- Execute designated experiments and translate and interpret data to communicate experimental results to the Principal Investigator.
- Assist in judging the validity of data and maintain accurate and detailed notes.
- Write research progress reports and maintain a quality lab environment, including cleanup and organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience required; 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
