This is a full-time, exempt position with a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with the possibility of additional hours and on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance on selecting, purchasing, and deploying technology solutions, as well as troubleshooting issues and implementing new systems
- Support end-user devices, network infrastructure, and ancillary systems through established service request processes
- Participate in project planning, monitoring, and execution
- Document technical environments, create process diagrams, and establish procedures
- Install and upgrade hardware and software for corporate and operational use
- Coordinate with vendors for IT-related services at various sites
- Quickly learn and apply technical knowledge to enhance operational efficiency
- Adhere to policies for problem identification, documentation, and resolution
- Assess new technology products and recommend improvements to existing systems
- Respond to after-hours emergencies as part of the IT support team
- Contribute to business process improvements
- Manage projects related to equipment deployment and maintenance
- Ensure consistency in best practices across all operational sites
- Provide training as necessary
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience and training.
Required Skills- 3-5 years of IT experience
- Proficiency in MS Windows installation and configuration
- Experience with peripheral support and troubleshooting
- Network setup and issue resolution skills
- Familiarity with mobile devices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Physical capability to move equipment (up to 50 pounds) and valid transportation
- Project management experience
- Involvement in equipment and budget planning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a construction or manufacturing IT environment
- Project management credentials
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft)
