Job Responsibilities

This hybrid role involves maintaining a high level of technical expertise in one or more engineering disciplines, identifying training needs, and scheduling appropriate training programs. The successful candidate will lead the training and development of other engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with engineering design and code standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a high level of technical expertise in one or more engineering disciplines
  • Identifying training needs and scheduling appropriate training programs
  • Leveraging extensive contacts with key engineers and officials in other organizations to ensure practices align with current regulatory requirements and innovations
  • Leading the training and development of other engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with engineering design and code standards
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university and at least 7 years of relevant work experience within the electric utility industry. A P.E. Certification and experience with AutoCAD, Pull-Planner, CYMCAP, and Python are preferred qualifications.
