Job Title: Produce Department Leader

Kroger is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as a Produce Department Leader.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can lead and manage the produce department in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Produce Department Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Motivate Team Members: Foster a positive and productive work environment by motivating and guiding your team members to achieve exceptional results.
  • Manage Daily Operations: Oversee daily store operations, including receiving, stocking, and merchandising of produce products.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive an exceptional shopping experience by providing prompt and courteous service.
  • Manage Inventory and Merchandise: Effectively manage inventory levels, merchandise products, and maintain a visually appealing store display.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve profit margins, and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • 1+ Year Retail Experience: Preferably in a leadership role.
  • Excellent Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to drive business growth.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
