About the RoleWe are seeking a Financial Business Intelligence Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial processes, EPM platforms, and the ability to work collaboratively across finance and technical teams.
Responsibilities:- Lead Implementation and Optimization: Lead the implementation and optimization of EPM solutions, including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with Finance Teams: Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to identify and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Design and Develop Financial Models: Design and develop financial models, dashboards, and reports within the EPM system to support forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
- Provide Functional Expertise: Provide functional expertise in EPM tools, such as Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP BPC, or similar platforms, to enhance financial planning and analysis capabilities.
- Manage Data Integration: Manage data integration and reconciliation between EPM systems and source ERP platforms.
- Train End-Users: Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to ensure successful adoption of EPM solutions.
- Troubleshoot Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues, ensuring system performance and accuracy.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in EPM to recommend continuous improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in functional EPM consulting, including hands-on expertise with EPM platforms.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and integrating them with EPM platforms.
- Proficiency in data modeling, financial analysis, and performance metrics.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
$140,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
