Interventional Radiology Technologist Position in Edgewood, Kentucky

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $120-$150 per hour, based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, resulting in approximately $96,000 to $126,000 per year.
About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity to work as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform various medical imaging procedures using specialized equipment
- Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and provide emotional support during testing
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain patient records, update charts, and perform administrative tasks as needed
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in Interventional Radiology and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.
- Current Professional License: Must hold a current professional license as required by the state
- Eligibility to Work in the US: Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- BLS Certification: Valid BLS through the American Heart Association
- Certifications and Experience: Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required for specific travel positions; at least one year of recent experience in specialty and a like setting (for RN positions)
