As a Process Engineer at Chronos Consulting, you will play a crucial role in maximizing process plant asset utilization and providing engineering support to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Resource Management: Lead a team of engineers, designers, and field supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects within budget.
• Quality Control/Assurance: Maintain the integrity of engineering documentation by adhering to company standards and delivering high-quality outputs.
• Cross Functional Activities: Provide engineering inputs for planning and execution of process unit T&Ls, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.
• Project Management/Engineering: Manage and implement justifiable projects, preparing detailed specifications and designs in accordance with industry codes and company standards.
• Engineering Support: Investigate problems, provide cost estimates, and deliver approved engineering drawings for essential repairs and maintenance.
• Safety Management: Participate in Management of Change review teams and lead HAZOP Studies to ensure safe working and operating conditions in the plant.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in project management in the oil refining, oil and gas production, or petrochemical industries.
• Ability to develop specifications for design and procurement of rotating equipment, applying international codes, standards, and project-specific standards.
• Experience in handling multiple projects and providing engineering support in an operating refinery environment.
