Job DescriptionWe're seeking an experienced Data Science Expert to join our team and help build scalable recommendation systems. As a key member of our dynamic team, you'll work on designing and developing machine learning models that drive our recommendation systems and retrieval algorithms. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of our product and empowering our users to find information in new and more effective ways.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models for recommendation systems, leveraging large datasets and complex algorithms.
- Collaborate with our engineering team to build groundwork infrastructure for retrieval, ensuring seamless integration with our existing backend stack.
- Work with real-world data to create scalable feedback loops, driving continuous improvement and innovation in our systems.
- Incorporate state-of-the-art LLMs into traditional machine learning systems, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with AI.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Experience with machine learning at scale, including designing and training complex models.
- Strong expertise in retrieval infrastructure, with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to explore new landscapes of models and algorithms.
- Eagerness to build from 0 to 1 and unlock potential in new products, with a passion for innovation and experimentation.
- Familiarity with big data pipelines for feature engineering, including data preprocessing and feature extraction.
- At least 6 years of experience with machine learning and backend engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
We offer competitive compensation, with a base salary range of $200,000 to $280,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, we offer equity and a 401(k) plan to support your long-term financial goals.
