Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team in Beaverton, Oregon. As a Float Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic ultrasound services in a hospital and/or clinical setting, including OB/GYN, abdominal, and vascular superficial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing diagnostic procedures using knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the age of the patient served
  • Communicating with Radiologists and assisting patients/transporting them as needed
  • Reviewing exams, filing work, restocking supplies, and performing quality assurance functions
Requirements
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Ultrasonographer Program or 2 years of previous Ultrasound experience
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Ob-Gyn or Abdomen required from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
  • Sonography Technologist License (Oregon) and Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience performing Ultrasound exams, preferably within the last 3 years
  • Vascular Ultrasonographer experience preferred
