About the Role

Calm Water Business Partner, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Audit Staff member to join our team. As an Audit Staff, you will be responsible for every aspect of the audit engagement, including audit planning, risk assessment, audit procedures, evaluation of evidence, and assisting clients in preparation of their financial statements, note disclosures, and any required additional schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Must have an understanding of financial reporting standards and experience working directly with clients.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work on multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with governmental accounting, auditing, and software is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related disciplines is required.
  • CPA license is strongly preferred for higher-level roles.
  • A minimum of two years of public accounting experience, including performing financial statement preparation and audits, is required.
