Construction Inspector

RK&K is seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team in Whiteville, NC. As a Construction Inspector, you will conduct field inspections to evaluate construction processes and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and special provisions.

• Conduct complex and routine inspections of construction sites
• Evaluate construction processes and materials
• Document inspection results and communicate with supervisors
• Conduct field measurements for pay item documentation and contract administration
• Inspect work zones for proper traffic control, erosion control, and utility coordination

• At least two years of roadway inspection experience
• Valid driver's license and favorable driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• NCDOT Erosion & Sediment Control Level II
• NCDOT Introduction to Asphalt Pavements
• NCDOT QMS Roadway Technician
• NCDOT Concrete Field Technician
• ACI Concrete Field Technician
• NCDOT ABC Sampling Technician
• NCDOT Borrow Pit Sampling Technician
• NCDOT Conventional Density Technician
• NICET Certifications
