Key Responsibilities- Provide primary care services to female veterans, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including mental health specialists, gynecologists, and primary care physicians, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in academic teaching and research activities, including mentoring medical students and residents, and contributing to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency program in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Board certification in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Experience working with female veterans and in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting.
- Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology or women's health.
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology.
