Job Title: Travel Physical Therapy Assistant

Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the rehabilitation process. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physical therapy sessions, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions
  • Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in physical therapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
