Firefighter/Paramedic

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter/Paramedic to join our team at the City of Alhambra, CA. As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing medical care, and conducting fire suppression activities.

• Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients
• Conduct fire suppression activities and maintain equipment
• Perform physical tasks such as climbing, lifting, and carrying heavy equipment
• Work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions in emergency situations
• Collaborate with other emergency responders and medical personnel to provide effective care

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• California Paramedic License required
• California State Basic Fire Academy certificate required
• Current Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) passage certificate required
• Valid Class C California Driver's License required

As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will work in a variety of environments, including emergency situations, fire scenes, and medical facilities. You will be exposed to hazardous materials, extreme temperatures, and physical demands. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
