Role Summary:

As an Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse, you will be instrumental in the recovery journey of patients, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care to individuals recuperating from various health challenges, surgical procedures, or injuries. Your responsibilities will include evaluating patient needs, formulating and executing personalized care strategies, and fostering a nurturing and therapeutic atmosphere to facilitate optimal recovery.

About the Rehabilitation Unit:

A specialized 14-bed unit, recognized for its commitment to quality care.
CARF accredited (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities).
Patient demographics include those facing significant health challenges such as strokes, spinal cord injuries, amputations, major trauma, femur fractures, brain injuries, neurological disorders (including MS, Parkinson's, Guillain-Barré syndrome), and joint replacements.
Patients are required to participate in a minimum of 3 hours of therapy daily and necessitate 24-hour nursing supervision.
Typical length of stay ranges from 1 to 3 weeks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a relevant nursing role
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice
