Job Overview

Morrison is seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Director to join their team. As a key member of the leadership group, this individual will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with at least 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is desired.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serves as the chief financial officer for Morrison, providing strategic financial guidance and direction.
  • Develops and implements financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the organization's financial health and stability.
  • Leverages expertise in financial analysis, accounting, and reporting to drive business decisions and optimize performance.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal controls.
  • Provides training and guidance to junior staff members to enhance their financial knowledge and skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity within private industry or independent special enterprise districts.
  • Valid California Class C Driver's License, free of any multiple or serious traffic violations or accidents.
Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year
