Emergency Room Travel Nurse Position

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN for a position in the Emergency Department. This role involves working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM at our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including RNs, EMTs, and Paramedics.
- Current certifications: TNCC, PALS, BLS, ACLS.
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in ER nursing.
- Preferred experience in Trauma Level 1 or 2 settings.
- Day Shift: 1 CNC, 6 Nurses & EMT starting at 0700.
- Night Shift: 1 CNC, 6 Nurses, 1 EMT, and 1 Medic starting at 1900.
- Patient ratios maintained at 4:1.
- Emergency Department 787 with 40 beds.
- Approximately 65 staff members including RNs, EMTs, and Paramedics.
- Utilization of standard ER equipment such as IV pumps, EKG machines, and monitors.
- Electronic Medical Records managed through Meditech- EDM.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced ER nurse who demonstrates a strong team spirit, self-motivation, and ambition. Our facility is recognized as a Trauma Level 3 hospital, a chest pain center, a primary stroke center, and the only sepsis certified center in Colorado. We also have a dedicated Pediatric ER staffed with Pediatricians throughout the day.
