Key Responsibilities

Position Summary:
A Certified Plumbing Technician is tasked with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems across various settings.

  • Diagnose plumbing issues and ensure adherence to plumbing regulations.
  • Install, repair, and maintain systems including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and drainage.
  • Conduct installations and repairs for water heaters, gas lines, and plumbing appliances.
  • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and standards.

Troubleshooting and Diagnostics
  • Utilize appropriate tools to diagnose plumbing problems.
  • Provide precise assessments and solutions for plumbing challenges.
  • Perform pressure tests to identify leaks and other concerns.

Maintenance and Inspections
  • Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation of plumbing systems.
  • Inspect plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
  • Recommend and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs.
  • Provide professional advice on plumbing system maintenance and upgrades.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and professional service.

Compliance and Safety
  • Adhere to all plumbing codes and safety standards.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
  • Stay informed on industry regulations and plumbing technology advancements.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed.

Equipment and Inventory Management
  • Properly use and maintain plumbing tools and equipment.
  • Manage inventory of plumbing supplies to ensure availability.
  • Order and replenish stock as necessary.

Qualifications

Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in plumbing.

Certifications:
A valid plumbing license as required by local regulations.

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams.
