European Kitchen Designer

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Designer with a specialization in European products and design to join our team at Nobilia North America Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing stylish and functional kitchen environments that reflect the essence of European craftsmanship and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget constraints for their kitchen remodeling or new construction project.
• Develop innovative and practical kitchen designs based on client input, taking into account the available space, architectural elements, and desired style.
• Utilize design software to create detailed floor plans and 3D visualizations of the proposed kitchen layout.
• Collaborate with clients to choose appropriate kitchen cabinetry, countertops, flooring, lighting, fixtures, and appliances that align with the design concept and meet the client's needs.
• Provide cost estimates for the proposed kitchen design and offer alternative options to stay within the client's budget.
• Ensure that the kitchen design adheres to local building codes, safety standards, and industry regulations.
• Identify and liaise with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality materials and components for the kitchen project.
• Oversee the kitchen design project from inception to completion, coordinating with contractors, installers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth execution.
• Present the finalized kitchen design to clients through presentations and renderings, explaining the rationale behind design choices and addressing any concerns.
• Provide post-installation support and address any issues or modifications requested by the client after project completion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Kitchen Designer with a specialization in European products and design.
• Creative mindset with a passion for bringing European design inspirations to life in kitchen projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey European design concepts to clients.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Extensive knowledge of European kitchen design trends, styles, and product brands.
• Strong knowledge and familiarity in working with the Metric System.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving project requirements.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and regulations related to kitchen design.
• Strong understanding of kitchen design principles, spatial planning, and ergonomics.
• High skills in English and Spanish language are necessary. Other multilingual skills, especially in European languages, may be advantageous for dealing with European suppliers and clients.
