Head Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at Maronas Market Inc. As a Head Cashier, you will be responsible for managing the cash register, handling customer transactions, and providing exceptional customer service.

• Ring up sales and complete transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues
• Manage the cash register, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a balanced cash drawer
• Supervise and train cashiers to ensure they are meeting performance standards
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers with their selections

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
• Previous experience in customer service and cash handling
• Ability to work well in a team environment and provide guidance to colleagues
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
