Job Description
The Clinical Nurse Supervisor leads as a transformational leader, overseeing first-line shift supervision on the unit and ensuring delivery of safe, effective nursing care according to the organization's philosophy and goals.
This role involves delegating care to other health personnel consistent with their scope of practice and job description, while promoting professional development within the team.
Responsibilities:
* Works under the supervision of the Clinical Manager
* Delivers safe, effective nursing care according to organizational philosophy and goals
* Utilizes Jean Watson's Theory of Caring and Relationship Based Care
* Supervises direct care staff and daily operations
* Maintains and promotes professional development
Qualifications:
Education:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing required (grandfathered employees exempt)
* Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing
Licensure:
* Valid and current RN license by the State of California
* Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS certification
* Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Course completion within 4 months of hire
Experience:
* Three years of acute care experience in area of specialty required
* Demonstrated leadership abilities
* Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
Salary and Benefits:
Hourly salary range: Min $81.81 - Max $98.66
