About the Role

Crown Technical Systems is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Testing Supervisor to lead our team responsible for testing substation control house projects. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of test technicians in conducting thorough and accurate testing of substation control house projects.
  • Develop and implement testing procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to review project specifications and develop test plans.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that testing is performed to the highest standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to test technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Identify and troubleshoot critical issues that may impact project timelines or quality.
Requirements
  • Technical degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical testing and commissioning, with a focus on substation control house projects.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading a team of technicians.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures, NEC, and IEEE codes.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
