About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist to join our team at Sunnybrook Dentistry & Braces - a Benevis company. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing specialized anesthesia care for pediatric patients undergoing dental procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level anesthesia care for children and young adults during office-based surgery days.
  • Collaborate closely with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
  • Work alongside dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Adapt to different clinical environments and provide specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency program.
  • Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing.
  • Required certifications include PALS, BLS, DEA, etc.
  • Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
  • Able to work collaboratively with dental teams and adapt to different clinical environments.
