UC Therapist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled UC Therapist to join our team at Bethany Christian Services. As a UC Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care and support to unaccompanied refugee and immigrant children.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to identify the needs of each child
• Develop and implement therapeutic plans to address the child's needs
• Hold weekly individual and group therapy sessions to promote healing and growth
• Coordinate reunification plans to help children reunite with their families
• Facilitate transfers to ensure a smooth transition for the child
• Attend trainings, meetings, and supervision sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices
• Prepare reports and required documentation to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field of study from an accredited college
• Limited license required
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
• Prior experience working with children and families from diverse cultures, strongly preferred
• Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions, including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
