Job Overview

JobsRUs is seeking a skilled Classification Contractor to work remotely and join our client's team. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $38.45 and flexible scheduling based on EST hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classify products, spare parts, equipment, tooling, and 3rd party products in accordance with Import Administration Regulations.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering teams, trade compliance peers, and other business partners to obtain necessary technical characteristics and data.
  • Maintain classifications and import logic in enterprise systems.
  • Disseminate classifications to other departments as needed.
  • Collect and manage 3rd party product classification support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, international trade, project management, engineering, or computer science.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with USHTS classification.
  • Ability to refine and develop processes to gather information necessary for classification.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining documentation of Import Compliance controls and processes.
  • Excellent communication and partnership skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to support other Import Compliance areas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of SAP/GTS.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and PC skills.
  • At least 5 years of classification experience in Communication Equipment.
