About Us: Bahama Bay Club is a premier Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care Community located in a serene setting. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional services and a supportive atmosphere for both residents and staff.

Position Summary: The Activities Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of social, educational, and recreational programs tailored to the interests and needs of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging activity programs that foster social interaction and personal growth.
  • Schedule and coordinate events, ensuring a diverse range of activities that cater to all residents.
  • Oversee the provision of materials and resources necessary for activities, including arts and crafts supplies.
  • Conduct individual assessments to tailor programs for residents who may prefer one-on-one engagement.
  • Manage the budget for the Activities Department, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with staff to enhance the quality of life for residents.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive environment, building strong relationships with residents and their families.

Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in hospitality or guest services is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and leadership skills.
  • Ability to evaluate staff performance effectively.
