Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting surgeons during operations.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for surgical procedures by ensuring they are properly positioned and draped.
- Maintain a sterile environment by following proper protocols and procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and providing support as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
- Graduate of an Associate or Bachelor's degree program for Surgical Technologist.
- Preferred Certification: CST (certification requirement directed by local facility).
- A minimum of 18 months experience is required for CST and/or Associate or Bachelor's degree.
- If a Surgical Technologist program has not been completed, due to training on the job or trained in the military – Five (5) years' work experience is required.
- Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
- Premium pay for travel assignments.
- Flexible scheduling to fit your needs.
